
18th December saw Schani have an article appear in the Derby Evening Telegraph. The full page article, complete with three pictures, was printed in the business pull out section of the newspaper.
The article, charted his development from the early days of his Stroke, right to the success of his mentoring partnership with Daniel Maclarren, a Barclays Business Advisor.
On November 1st, Schani started a new employment at First Movement, in Matlock. First Movement lead Arts based workshops with Aldults with Learning Difficulties in the East Midlands.
His new job title is Project Coordinator (Training and Skills). The post is 30 hours a week and involves both office based project coordination and in-the-field project delivery. Part of Schani's post will be to research and impliment accreditation for the clients of First Movement.
Following his successful speaking at the Leonard Cheshire 'Ready to Start' Launch events, Schani is now interviewed for an article in The Times.
The interview, conducted by Claire Dight, is all about the successful business relationship between Schani and his Barclays 'Buddy', whom he went to sixth form with. It charts the mentoring relationship and states how good it can be for fledgling businesses.
Schani is currently contracted by the Older Peoples Activities Gropu (OPA) in Rotherham to deliver an 8 week contract.
After previously leading residencies on the SecondBite project, a groundbreaking project in Rotherham working with Artists in Residential home settings, Schani was invited back to work with OPA to deliver a further 8 sessions, to include training.
The Wednesday Inclusive Youth Group, based at Derby Dance, that Schani facilitates, performed this month at the Yoth Dance Platform - Future Lite.
The annual platform has been running for several years now and is a showcase for Youth talent at Derby Dance.
